We distil, bake and cook in one house on the B105. What we sell is made here, and anyone who visits can watch.

Every spirit on the shelf has run over copper in this house. We do not buy in finished spirit to relabel it.
Openness
Glass distillery
The distillery is open while we work. If you want to know how something is made, you can watch and ask.
Origin
From the coast
Botanicals from the Rostock Heath, grain and fruit from the region, beer from Brohm. Short distances wherever possible.

From Männerhobby to manufactory
2016
Founded in MönchhagenUnder the name MÆNNERHOBBY, the distillery at An der Postsäule starts with gin, Kümmel and liqueurs.
2026
MØNCH Blend 01Our first rum is bottled, after years in the cask and with a numbered band.
2026
The 4,000-litre stillEurope’s largest rum still has arrived. It will make rum, whisky and possibly vodka.
2026
Manufaktur MönchhagenMÆNNERHOBBY becomes Manufaktur Mönchhagen, a house of Domäne Ostsee.
